Johns Hopkins University hosted the inaugural US/Japan Joint Workshop on June 3-4, 2024, bringing together delegations from the Whiting School of Engineering (WSE) at Johns Hopkins University, the Institute for Biomaterials and Bioengineering (IBB) at Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU), and the International Institute for Biosensing (IIB) at the University of Minnesota. The workshop featured stimulating presentations and lively discussions led by experts in biosensing and bioengineering, highlighting their recent breakthroughs. Dr. Patricia Khashayar, Director of IIB, showcased her research during the event, emphasizing IIB's contributions to the field.
