IEEE TryEngineering in collaboration with Minnesota Nano Center and International Institute for BioSensing  was honored to host a group of dedicated teachers for a two-day workshop focused on semiconductors, including how semiconductors work, their impact on our world, and most importantly, how to effectively pass this knowledge on to the next generation of innovators.

This inspiring workshop included a tour of our state-of-the-art Nano Center, hands-on activities on how to connect the concepts to model the making of a chip and learn how to replicate this activity in the classrooms. Such collaborations between educators and researchers is critical to help bridge the gap between cutting-edge science and the classroom!
