The International Institute for Biomanufacturing (IIB) joined Research Computing and University of Minnesota Data Science and AI Hub at the annual Design of Medical Devices (DMD) Conference hosted by the University of Minnesota, highlighting the Institute's growing role in advancing innovation.

The IIB hosted a booth at the conference, engaging with a wide range of attendees including academic researchers, industry leaders, and students. The event provided a unique platform to share the Institute’s mission, explore collaborative opportunities, and discuss the latest developments in medical device design and biomanufacturing.

"We’re proud to be part of such a vibrant ecosystem of innovation," said IIB director, Patricia Khashayar. "The conversations we had at DMD reflect a strong interest in building partnerships that can accelerate the path from research to real-world impact."

The IIB’s presence at DMD underscores its commitment to fostering cross-sector collaboration and supporting the development of scalable, biosensing solutions.
