On Friday June 20, 2025, Vice President for Research and Innovation Shashank Priya, College of Engineering Dean Andrew Alleyne, Research Computing Director Jim Wilgenbusch, International Institute for Biosensing Director Patricia Khashayar and Assistant Vice President JoonHyung Cho met with Seoul National University’s Vice President of International Affairs Jae W. Lee, Vice Dean of International Affairs Wontae Hwang, and Dean of the College of Engineering Young-Oh Kim.
The discussions focused on identifying potential areas of collaboration between the University of Minnesota, IIB and SNU, and were both inspiring and productive. The two delegations found strong alignment in their shared vision to drive innovation, advance interdisciplinary research, and strengthen global partnerships.
This will be the starting point for building on this momentum and exploring impactful initiatives that can benefit both institutions — and the broader global scientific community.
