As we approach the end of a busy and rewarding year at the IIB, we take a moment to reflect on our achievements and share a glimpse of what lies ahead. It has been a year marked by remarkable progress, impactful collaborations, and exciting milestones.
A central focus of our work at IIB is fostering both national and international partnerships to advance precision sensing across diverse sectors. In 2024, we were thrilled to sign Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with five leading universities worldwide, further expanding our network and collaborative efforts. Our ongoing commitment to knowledge exchange was highlighted by two successful joint Precision Sensing workshops with Germany and Italy. Additionally, we were honored by a visit from the Governor of Victoria (Australia) and her delegation, which led to a visit of the UMN team to Australia.
A staff exchange program was started with Seoul National University (SNU) to further explore collaborative opportunities and prepare for upcoming workshops.
In another exciting development, IIB is now a proud member of the Consortium on Law and Values in Health, Environment & the Life Sciences, which allows us to engage in cutting-edge research, share knowledge, and contribute to the advancement of science across diverse fields with fellow members.
But these are just a few of the highlights from an incredible year. We invite you to stay connected with us through our website news section, our newsletter, and our LinkedIn page for the latest updates on upcoming events, funding opportunities, international workshops, and more.
Looking ahead, we are excited about the initiatives we have planned for 2025, focused on enhancing research competitiveness and building stronger capabilities with our global partners. These efforts reflect our ongoing commitment to advancing cutting-edge research with a practical, use-inspired approach.
